NULLChampions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. |

The Orlando Soldiers hosted a back to school hair cuts event.
The Orlando Soldiers hosted a back to school hair cuts event with assistance from local motorcycle clubs, Perfecting word ministries,
and G Spot barber shop on Saturday August 21, 2010. over seventy-five free haircuts and one hundred bags
of school supplies were given to school age children returning to school on Monday. No event of this nature
would be complete without food, so the owner of G Spot provided BBQ and hotdogs for everyone.
This being our first collective effort with other motorcycle clubs in the area was a great success and we are
looking forward to this being an annual event that will lead to many more such events in our area. I would like
to personally thank Batman, President BSMC Central Florida for his members that came over, jumped right in
and assisted where needed. attached are photos from the event but you can see additional photos at
our website. A personal thanks is extended to our business manager "Law Dawg" for his tenacity that brought this event together, following up
on our promise at the last annual ( to target young males in the community guiding them towards these scholarship
opportunities). At our last Annual event BSMC Orlando awarded five scholarships in the community but received
no applications from any male students, all five recipients were females.
Coming together to promote education amongst our youth is a must for without education there is no tomorrow.
David "Radio" Phelan President BSMC Orlando

Ken "Dreammaker" Thomas
|
|
The history of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers & Troopers Motorcycle
Clubs (NABSTMC) began with a dream; in this case, the dream of Ken 'Dream Maker'
Thomas. Believing that it was time to establish a modern progressive motorcycle
club whose focus was to promote a positive image among Blacks that would be respected
in the community and throughout the country, Thomas founded the Buffalo Soldiers
Motorcycle Club of Chicago in October 1993.
Read More.... The name Buffalo Soldiers was initially selected to pay homage to
and ensure the legacy of African American military contributions in the post Civil
War era. Under the leadership of Ken Thomas, the new club was chartered as the Buffalo
Troopers Motorcycle Club of Chicago. more >>
